In September of last year I purchased my first, high-end DSLR. This blessed event provoked a swell of respect for a simple, well-shot, untouched photograph. That said, as a producer my job is to take a piece of film, animation or photography and edit, bake and tweak it out of its raw source into something compelling and new. So while the purist in me struggles with the notion of ‘having work done’ to my photos I’ve been built to noodle and it appears I’m not alone.
I’m one of the few San Franciscans who isn’t that bothered by the weather. I guess my take is that the fog and chill of summer are a small price to pay for a winter without ice scrapers and long undies. But I gotta say, my down Patagonia has already gotten more play in July than it did in January.
It’s been a dreary week and this morning was no exception. I slept through yoga (oops) so I hit the beach for an foggy morning photo sesh.
